The Best Starbucks Egg Bites Recipe (Copycat)

This recipe will blow your mind! You will need a few simple ingredients and a silicone muffin tray to make the perfect sous vide egg bites.

This egg bite recipe is practically identical to the Starbucks recipe, but honestly it’s even better because the ingredients are simple and clean.

Ingredients

• Olive oil or avocado spray
• Pasture Raised Eggs – My favorite are from Vital Farms (Organic)
• Cottage Cheese – My favorite is from Good Culture
• Veggies and Protein
• Sea Salt & Pepper

Tips for the best Egg Bites

  1. Use a high speed blender and blend until just combined
  2. Check on the egg bites while in the oven. You can start at 300 degrees and increase if you would like more browning on the tips the last few minutes.
  3. Use a baking tray underneath so the eggs don’t spill over.

Copycat Starbucks Egg Bites Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of eggs egg whites, or a mix of both
  • 2/3 cups of cottage cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Spinach desired amount
  • Optional: Turkey bacon roasted red peppers, cheese, or any other toppings you prefer

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Place a baking dish filled with 1 inch of water on the bottom rack of the oven. This will create a sous vide effect similar to Starbucks’ egg bites.
  • In a high-speed blender, combine the eggs, cottage cheese, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  • Spray a silicone egg bite tray with avocado oil to prevent sticking.
  • Pour the egg and cottage cheese mixture into the silicone tray, filling each mold almost to the top.
  • Add spinach leaves and any other desired toppings to each mold. You can also wrap a piece of turkey bacon around the rim of each mold if desired.
  • Place the filled silicone tray on the middle rack of the oven, directly above the baking dish with water.
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the egg bites are set and slightly golden on top.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before carefully removing them from the silicone tray.

This breakfast hack has been a game-changer for busy mornings.

I loved going to Starbucks to get my egg bites. I thought they were so healthy, what I didn’t know is they were packed with additives and preservatives.

So, I decided to make my own.

Why I Love Them: First off, they’re a lifesaver when you’re on the go.

Whip up a batch ahead of time, and you’ve got a grab-and-go breakfast that’ll keep you fueled all morning long.

Plus, they’re incredibly versatile – throw in whatever veggies or toppings you have on hand.

One of the best things about these egg bites is their protein content, helping to keep you full and satisfied until your next meal.

And here’s the best part – even the kids love them! Get them involved in the kitchen by letting them choose their favorite toppings or shapes for the egg bites.

It’s a fun way to get them excited about breakfast and maybe even sneak in some extra veggies along the way.

Homemade egg bites are the ultimate breakfast solution for busy mornings.

Quick, easy, and packed with protein, they’re sure to become a staple in your breakfast rotation.

Trust me, once you try them, you’ll wonder how you ever survived without them!

Storing and Reheating Instructions:

Once they’ve cooled completely, pop them into an airtight container and store them in the fridge.

They’ll stay fresh for 3 to 5 days.

When the craving hits, grab them straight from the fridge for a quick and satisfying snack.

To reheat, you’ve got a couple of options.

For a quick fix, place the egg bites on a microwave-safe plate for about 30 seconds. Make sure they’re heated through before serving.

If you’re in the mood for a crispier bite, preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C), then place the egg bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook them for about 3 to 5 minutes until they’re golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Freezing Instructions:

If you want to stock up, freezing is the way to go!

Just toss your cooled egg bites into a freezer-safe container or Silicone Freezer bag. The egg bites will maintain their quality for 1 to 2 months.
