Date Bark With Nuts

date bark with nuts

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with date barks.

There’s something irresistible about the combination of sweet dates and rich chocolate. But my favorite version so far? It’s the one topped with crunchy nuts.

It’s simple, indulgent, and utterly addictive.

Here’s the recipe

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Lay a package of pitted dates on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place another sheet of parchment paper on top and press down firmly to form a flat dough.
  2. Spread a layer of crunchy almond butter evenly over the flattened date dough.
  3. Drizzle the melted high-quality stevia sweetened dark chocolate over the almond butter layer.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the fridge for about a minute to allow the chocolate to slightly set.
  5. Remove the baking sheet from the fridge and sprinkle your favorite chopped nuts over the chocolate layer.
  6. Return the baking sheet to the fridge for about 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to fully set and the bark to firm up.
  7. Once set, sprinkle flaked sea salt over the bark for added flavor.
  8. Place the bark back in the fridge until you’re ready to eat.

Enjoy!

These date barks are perfect for kids treats too! Make it a family affair, letting them choose their favorite nuts or toppings to sprinkle on top.

You can also switch things up and use peanut butter instead of chocolate if that’s what they’re in the mood for.

It’s a fun activity that creates delicious and healthy treats!
