Flax Bread Recipe

I saw this recipe on Mona Vands Instagram and I knew I had to make it! The outcome: perfectly yummy small breads that are packed with fiber and healthy fat. These little gems are so delicious and are one of my favorite foods to eat for breakfast. I’ve topped them with tuna, and egg salad, and I love them with a hard-boiled egg and my favorite Siete jalapeño sauce.

Flax Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of flax meal
  • 1 tbsp aluminum free baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Celtic sea salt
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Add all ingredients to a bowl, and mix. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll the mixture into small golf-shaped balls. Add them to the baking sheet and flatten the tops just a bit.
  • Bake for 35 or until cooked through. Make sure to watch them towards the end so they do not burn.
